Swing into summer at Palmer Park with the Complete Player Baseball Clinic, where young athletes can sharpen their skills and enjoy an unforgettable week on the field. This is a great opportunity for players to elevate their game, build confidence, and make new friends while enjoying America’s favorite pastime. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the field.

Washington Township Recreation has opened registration to students entering Grades 2 through 8. This spirited, professionally led clinic will take place June 22–25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with June 26 reserved as a rain date. Participants will be thoughtfully grouped by grade and ability to ensure a fun, challenging, and developmentally appropriate experience for all.

Registration is due by June 12, 2026, and the fee is non‑refundable. Forms submitted after the deadline will incur a $25 late fee, so early registration is encouraged. Registration is considered closed beginning on the first day of the clinic.

Week after week, the fields will come alive as young athletes dive headfirst into the exhilarating world of soccer, building skills, confidence, and memories that will echo long after the final whistle.

Kiddy Kickz Summer Soccer Clinic ages 3-5 (9-11am)

Great News for Young Ballplayers: Announcing the “Wolfpack Baseball Skills & Development Clinic”!

Washington Township Recreation, in partnership with the West Morris Central Head Baseball Coach, is excited to once again offer the Wolfpack Baseball Skills & Development Clinic, returning to the beautiful grounds of Palmer Park.

Young athletes will sharpen essential fundamentals—hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and situational awareness—while receiving hands-on instruction from experienced staff committed to helping players grow and succeed.

This long-running program welcomes athletes ages 7–15 and provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen skills in every area of the game. From July 20 through July 23, 2026 (rain date: July 24), participants will train from 9 AM to 1 PM, working closely with knowledgeable coaches in an engaging, supportive environment.

A nonrefundable registration fee is due by July 9, 2026. Registrations submitted after this date will incur a $25 late fee, and no registration forms will be accepted after July 13.

Get ready for an unforgettable week on the tennis courts. Our 2026 clinic for ages 10–14 is designed to spark confidence, sharpen skills, and fuel every player’s love of the game. With fast‑paced morning sessions and hands‑on coaching, this is the perfect chance for young athletes to level up and have a blast doing it.

Our week-long clinic will run July 27–30, 2026, with a rain date of July 31. Sessions take place each morning from 9:00–11:00 AM, giving players a focused and energetic environment to strengthen their skills.

Registration closes July 23, 2026. A $25 late fee applies after this date, and registration will close once the program begins.  Space is limited, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

Get ready for a summer full of smiles, movement, and mini‑matches. Our 2026 youth tennis program brings young players ages 4–9 onto the courts for lively, age‑appropriate sessions that build coordination, confidence, and a love for the game. Each Saturday is packed with upbeat instruction, fun drills, and plenty of encouragement to help every child shine.

Children ages 4–9 can join us on Saturdays from June 20 through August 1, 2026, for six engaging sessions tailored to their age group.

• Ages 4–6: 8:45–9:25 AM
• Ages 7–9: 9:30–10:20 AM

Washington Township Recreation Presents: Kids’ Charcuterie Workshop

Create, be happy, inspire, and enjoy as Jenny Boeckel from Rose & Fig leads a delightful, hands‑on charcuterie workshop designed especially for kids ages 9 and up. Join us on Friday, May 8th at 5:00 PM at the Washington Township Community Center, 35 East Springtown Road.

Young creators will explore an array of cheeses, fruits, meats, nuts, and other delicious treats, then learn how to arrange them into bright, imaginative displays. By the end, they’ll head home with a beautiful—and wonderfully tasty—gift crafted with creativity and someone special.

Whether attending with friends, bringing someone special, or joining independently, this workshop offers a refined and enjoyable way to begin the weekend. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. A non‑refundable fee is due by May 1, 2026.

Grab a racket and get ready — this spring’s tennis season is shaping up to be an absolute smash.

Spring is bursting onto the courts in Washington Township, and the Recreation Tennis Clinic is set to make this season unforgettable. From April 12 through May 24, 2026, the Rock Spring Park Tennis Courts will come alive every Sunday morning as young athletes ages 4 to 14 dive into six weeks of fast‑paced rallies, big smiles, and nonstop skill‑building.

Clinic Schedule

• Beginner Tennis (ages 4–6): 8:45 am – 9:25 am
• Elementary Tennis (ages 7–10): 9:30 am – 10:20 am
• High School Hopefuls (ages 11–14): 10:30 am – 11:30 am
