Washington Township Recreation Invites Seniors to an Unforgettable Evening of Dancing, Music, and Community

Washington Township Recreation invites all seniors to dust off their dancing shoes, gather their friends, and join us for a night that promises to be lively, heartwarming, and truly unforgettable.

We are delighted to announce the return of our beloved Senior Dance an event that has been absent from the community calendar for far too long. This year’s celebration will take place on Thursday, June 25th at 5:00 PM at the Washington Township Community Center, 35 East Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ. The evening will be filled with energy, nostalgia, and pure fun.

This special event is designed to bring seniors together for an elegant night of socializing, music, and light refreshments. Guests will be welcomed with a selection of hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new members of the community, and enjoy a festive atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the season. Due to limited capacity, early registration is strongly encouraged. A non‑refundable payment is required by June 18th to secure attendance.

Adding to the magic of the evening is our featured entertainer, Jerry Castaldo, a seasoned performer known for his dynamic blend of music, comedy, and charm. With decades of experience lighting up stages across the country—from Atlantic City casinos to iconic New York City venues—Jerry brings a style that’s smooth, heartfelt, and delightfully entertaining. His performances weave together classic hits, warm humor, and the kind of showmanship that makes every audience feel like they’re part of something special.

The return of this event marks an important moment for our community, reaffirming our commitment to providing meaningful social opportunities for seniors. We look forward to welcoming attendees to an evening that promises refinement, entertainment, and a renewed sense of togetherness.

Deliveries are made on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—never on holidays or weekends—and only once a month of your time is needed to make an impact.
