Ice Skating this Winter in Palmer Park
A temporary rink for ice skating only, dependent on weather, has been constructed in Palmer Park. The rink will be open when frozen and there will be a sign near the entrance to Palmer Park indicating when the rink is open for skating (no hockey). The temporary rink will be removed after the winter and field preparation completed before Spring baseball.
Please observe the following:
Stay off surface when No Skating sign is up at entrance to park. If the liner is damaged the rink will not retain water.
Park in the lower lot (please be patient as the parking lot will be plowed after roads when there is snow).
The rink (when frozen) will be open dawn to dusk
No aggressive skating
Skating that endangers or interferes with other users safety or pleasure is prohibited
No food or drink while on ice
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Skates must be worn on surface
