The Governor has issued Executive Order 118 closing state and county parks effective April 7 at 8 p.m. Please contact Morris County Park Police for violations at county parks and trails by calling 973-285-2951. Hacklebarney is a state park and violations can be reported to the state park police at 877-927-6337.

Municipal parks will remain open for walking trails while athletic fields and courts remain closed. To prevent potential overcrowding, many parking lots will be closed to limit the number of potential users; parking in prohibited areas, including closed lots, grass and roadways will be strictly enforced. Should the ability to maintain social distancing by users become an issue, municipal parks will be closed.
