There are no new COVID-19 positive confirmations in the Township to report today. However, please be vigilant and protect yourself from COVID-19 by practicing social distancing and stay home as much as possible. If you’re sick call your health care provider. Call your doctor or hospital FIRST before driving by following the CDC guidelines and stay home as much as possible.

Small business owners, non-profits, Homeowners and renters can file for Disaster Loan Assistance at the SBA website; SBA - Disaster Loan Assistance

Under CDC guidelines, you should:

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

  • Avoid handshakes. Try an elbow bump.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hand).

  • Get a flu shot to prevent the flu if you have not done so this season.

The State of NJ has implemented the following:

  • Stay home as per the directive of the Governor of New Jersey.

  • Non-essential businesses are to close/adopt work from home practices..

  • No groups larger than 10, observe social distancing while out.

Our Township Clerk and our Land Use Coordinator are exploring options for online meeting platforms. I’m going to be one of the guinea pigs for a test run and we should be rolling out a uniform platform for all our boards and committees by next week.”
