Fall Into the Spotlight! Autumn Musical Theatre is Back in Washington Township

As the leaves turn, Washington Township Recreation and local theatre artist Jenny Boeckel are bringing back the popular Musical Theatre Enrichment program this fall! Designed for aspiring young performers, this high-energy class helps kids trade stage fright for standing ovations in a warm, supportive environment.

Perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and act, this session lets students collaborate on a lively mini-musical. Through creative theater games, storytelling, and improv, participants will build the confidence and self-expression needed to chase their stage dreams, culminating in a live performance for family and friends on the final day.

The eight-week autumn session runs on Mondays from September 14 through November 2, 2026, with actors ages 6 to 9 meeting from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and ages 10 to 13 taking the stage from 5:35 PM to 6:35 PM. Spots are strictly limited, and a non-refundable fee is due by September 10, 2026.
