May 14 is the last day to register to vote for the June Primary.  Registration forms are available on line at the Morris County Elections Website or in the Washington Township Clerk's Office.  Forms must be mailed and received by the  Morris County Elections in Morristown  by May 14. May 28 is the last day to apply for a Mail-In Ballot Application for the Primary Election.  Visit the Morris County Elections website for the form. 

On or about May 29 the Morris County Elections will mail sample ballots.   You can also view sample ballots on line at the Morris County Elections Website.  Sample ballots are posted on the County website one week prior to the election. 

You can vote prior to Election Day, in person,  at the Morris County Clerk's Office, up until 3 PM.  Visit the Morris County Elections Website for details.    

June 4  is Primary Election Day.  Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Your polling location will be printed on your sample ballot.  Polling locations can also be found on the Township Website or on the Morris County Elections Website. 

Note:  In a Primary Election you can only vote the party in which you are affiliated. In order to change your party affiliation, you must file a written request with the Morris County Board of Elections at least 55 days before the Primary Election (April 10, 2019). Once you change parties, you will be affiliated with the new party for the next Primary Election. The General Election is the only time you can cross party lines.
