TAX OFFICE/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK - 4 to 5 days per week, $19 to $23 per hour depending on experience. Experience in municipal tax or finance office preferred, experience with Edmunds software a plus. Must customer service and computer proficient.

FT or PT TAX COLLECTOR –  Must have certification, strong customer service and computer skills including Word and Excel. Salary DOQ. The Tax Collector also serves as Animal Licensing Official and Tax Collector for Califon Borough under a shared service agreement. Total line items app 7,300. Familiarity with Edmunds and MSI, animal licensing a plus. 

PT ASSISTANT FIRE INSPECTOR – Part-time, 1-2 days per week, $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience. Responsible for smoke/carbon monoxide detector and extinguisher inspections, duties of Fire Inspector per NJAC 5:71-3.3; certification required and 1 year of experience enforcing the Uniform Fire Code. 

FT or PT REHS - Rate DOQ, hours flexible. Duties include septic inspections, servings as COVID-19 Generalist/Vulnerable Population Outreach Assistant. 

PT TAX ASSESSMENT OFFICE CLERK –  $16-$20/Hr., 21 hours per week. Must be customer service driven, possess computer skills including Word and Excel, and have the ability to work independently. Familiarity with municipal government or real estate preferred, municipal assessing office experience a plus.
