The NJ Department of Environmental Protection has declared a Drought Watch for Morris County. The drought conditions require the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority (WTMUA) to extend the current mandatory water restrictions for residents on the Schooley's Mountain Water System until October 15th. 

Efforts by all residents to conserve water—especially for outdoor use—will help ensure adequate water supplies until the Drought Watch is lifted.
