The Governor has issued a State of Emergency for all NJ counties in advance of the impending arrival of Hurricane Isaias.

The current forecast has the center of the storm passing over our area this afternoon with the heaviest downpours expected by early afternoon and up to 6+” of rainfall.

Intermittent rain will continue this morning before the main flooding threat moves in toward midday. Wind gusts exceeding 55 mph are also expected this afternoon through approximately 6 pm, with the potential for

downed trees and power lines.  Isolated tornadoes are also a possibility for our overall region.

Take extra care if traveling given potential for roadway flooding.  Secure outdoor items that may become airborne due to high winds.
