The following ordinances were introduced at the March 20,  2023 meeting of the Township Committee.

RO-03-23

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING CHAPTER 44 "AMBULANCES" OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE

RO 04-23

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING CHAPTER 137 "PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS" OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON

RO 05-23

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CANCELLATION OF THE UNEXPENDED BALANCES OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AUTHORIZATIONS FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON   

[SUMMARY – this ordinance cancels unexpended capital improvement funds previously appropriated by ordinance.  Amounts that were funded but not used for completed capital projects will become available for future capital project appropriations. Click link above to read ordinance in full.]

Said Ordinances will be considered for final reading and adoption at a regular meeting of the Washington Township Committee to be held on April 17, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Washington Township Municipal Building, 43 Schooley’s Mountain Road, Long Valley, New Jersey at which time and place all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning same.

An ordinance is a local law. It is an act or regulation of the governing body of any municipality required to be in writing and read at more than one meeting thereof and published.
