Get Your Glow On, Washington Township! The 7th Annual Holiday Light Fight is On!

Washington Township is about to get ridiculously bright! We’re kicking off our seventh spectacular year of total holiday magic, and the challenge is officially out: it’s time to unleash your festive genius and turn our streets into a winter wonderland! Every year, your dazzling outdoor creations completely blow us away, so bringing back this legendary neighborhood tradition was an absolute no-brainer. Dust off those extension cords, untangle those light strands, power up the inflatables, and get ready to battle for fantastic prizes—plus the ultimate neighborhood bragging rights and a glorious champion yard sign to prove it.

From December 7 through December 9, our elite panel of judges will hit the streets between dusk and 8:00 PM to take in all the twinkling brilliance. But the power is in the community’s hands, too! Grab the official list of participating homes on our website starting December 5, take a festive night drive, and cast your vote online for the Community Choice winner by Friday, December 11th at 12:00 PM.

All Judges’ Picks and Fan Favorite champions will be crowned live at the Jolly Jamboree on Saturday, December 12th at 3:00 PM at the Rock Spring Park Pavilion (rain/snow date: December 13th), complete with big cheers, epic photo ops, and custom yard signs.

To participate, submit your signed registration form by Friday, December 4th at 12:00 PM via email to recreation@wtmorris.net or by mail to Washington Township Recreation at 50 Rock Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853. Questions? Give us a jingle at (908) 876-5941 or visit recreation.wtmorris.org. Let’s make the township shine brighter than ever!
