Washington Township, Morris County, is hiring for the following 2 positions:

JR. DPW MECHANIC – Full Time, $32/hr., benefits. Must have High School diploma or GED and combined 3 years auto tech training at vocational or community college and experience in automotive (gas and diesel) repair & maintenance, inspection & testing. Some snow plowing required. CDL Required; must have or obtain within one year of hire. ASE certification preferred. PT FIRE INSPECTOR – WASHINGTON TWP, MORRIS COUNTY –Part-time, 10-20 hours per week, $23 per hour with one year fire inspector experience. Responsible for smoke/carbon monoxide detector/extinguisher, life hazard, non-life hazard and permit inspections as per NJAC 5:71-3.3; fire inspector certification required and 1 year of experience enforcing the Uniform Fire Code, completed or willing to complete HUD lead-based paint assessment training.
